» Grant/Proposal Writing

The VIP Research and Evaluation staff has been asked to write numerous grants and proposals over the years. Sometimes clients come to us to write an entire grant for a funding opportunity. Other times, clients will perform the bulk of the writing but ask us to write an evaluation or assessment component for their grant. Either way, we lend our expertise in crafting a solid evaluation/assessment plan that will improve our client’s likelihood of winning a project or securing funding.

» Data Management

Although we are a full-service research company, we can perform tasks such as turning a rudimentary dataset into something highly useful. Sometimes we get data sent to use as ASCII or Excel datasets and we convert them to SPSS or SAS datasets. During this process we not only clean the data for any inconsistencies and abnormalities but we also create and transform new variables as needed and provide variable and value labels. Finally, we can run frequencies and/or tables for clients and hand this over to them so that they can perform their own analysis if they so choose.

» Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Mapping

VIP Research and Evaluation is able to produce GIS maps to enhance research. Some projects call for visuals that depict targeted geographic areas in need of intervention. GIS maps are highly useful for pinpointing areas in need or gaps in services. GIS maps are often used in our evaluation and needs assessment research and they’re just one additional service that we are happy to provide our clients.
